Nice, easy trail right of Highway 101 that takes visitors through gorgeous views of redwoods, above the noise of the highway.  This short trail, one of the most popular in Redwood National and State Parks, is worth the quick detour off the highway and will leave you feeling refreshed.
The trees tower over you as you hike in the lush greenness that surrounds you.  The pictures don't give the place enough due.

Parking can get tight here and the trail can get crowded.  Get here early if you can. 
How to get there:
You'll find Bald Hills Road on your right as you head North on Highway 101; North of Orick.  There will be signs along the way but check out the map for a better idea.
