Weott - (2.5 miles; O&B) - Addie Johnson Trail

Mattole Road
Weott, California 95571
Humboldt County

This is a wonderful trail that we've hiked a few times and really enjoyed.  There is some elevation gain on the way in but we've seen a range of people having a great time on this trail.   It is mostly shaded and the trees and groves that line the trail along the way are beautiful and mesmerizing.
Once you get to what you think is the end, you'll see the trail continuing on up the hill.  If you take this trail, you'll head into the trees for about thirty minutes and will come out in a gorgeous meadow with some chill views.  This would be a great place to relax and enjoy some food.  Pack out all your trash.
