Furever Home Friday - Humboldt Animals Looking for Homes (October)

Millie

Looking for a loyal, loving friend? These animals are all available for adoption and looking for their Furever Homes.

We do our best to ensure that the animals we feature are all currently up for adoption but sometimes (fortunately!) they find their amazing new homes in between the date we post and the date you see this. Please contact the shelter directly about availability.

That cutie on the cover is Millie who can be adopted at Sequoia Humane Society (Eureka): 707-442-1782.

Raider

This handsome senior is good with people and other dogs.  He just needs a nice place to spend his retirement years.  If you have room in your heart for this special boy, please go meet him soon.

Miranda's Rescue (Fortuna): 707-725-4449

That's A Lot Of Parks!

Our Humboldt County Parks section has information, directions, photos and more for over 50 Humboldt County Parks; many of them dog friendly!

 Evie

Evie could use lost of room to run in a large, secure yard, confident handlers who are interested in continuing her training, either a nice large dog for a playmate or no other dogs, a family who would appreciate her loyal affection, lots of toys to play with and people who can be a little patient as she relearns the world out of the shelter.

 Humboldt Animal Shelter (McKinleyville): 707-840-9132

Purr-Love-Ose

Sweet and playful Purr-love-ose is still available for adoption. She is no more than a year old. Loves to play and cuddle. Her fur is super soft to the touch. She enjoys a little outside time but prefers to be where her humans are. She would make a great indoor only cat or indoor/outdoor. But definitely not outdoor only as she loves human cuddles to much.

Humboldt Animal Indigenous Rescue (Eureka): 408-455-4827

Mamba

Female, tuxedo, long-hair, (adult): Mamba is a seductive, luxurious lady who makes you earn your keep. She warms to pets and treats. When she first arrived, she was a handful, but she has definitely thrived from our litter. Although, a bit snarky at times, she gets along with all cats and most humans (ha!). We live to adore and serve her with all of our HART!

Decker

Decker is a Terrier, American Pit Bull and will weigh around 60 lbs when full-grown.  This loving dog enjoys being the center of attention and would love to meet you.

Sequoia Humane Society (Eureka): 707-442-1782

Honey

This Shepherd/Hound mix is a playful, loving sweetie that would be a welcome addition to any home.

Thanks for taking a look at some of the animals that are up for adoption. If you can't adopt, shelters are always looking for donations and volunteers as well.
