The Manila Community Park sits on Humboldt Bay and offers incredible views as well as a playground, two tennis courts, basketball courts, open grass space and trails that run through a freshwater marsh. It's a great place to picnic, relax or explore.
The park also features a 9-hole Disc Golf Course that is fun for all skill levels.
How to get there:
From Eureka, take Highway 255 west toward Samoa. Once your cross the bridges, turn right on New Navy Base Road and take a right on Lupin Drive about a mile later. The park will be 2 blocks in front of you.
From Arcata; take Highway 255 south toward Samoa. Take Lupid Drive left and the park will be 2 blocks in front of you.

Other fun things to do in the area:
The Samoa Dunes Recreation Area is a few miles away and is full of fun activities. Also, don't miss the Humboldt Coastal Nature Center and the Samoa Logging Museum while you're in the area.
