If you have a love for Pinball, the Pacific Pinball Museum must be on your list of things to do while in the Bay Area.  They have 90 playable pinball machines representing the evolution of pinball.  They've even got machines that are close to 100 years old!  The Museum also features classes, exhibits and special events.
How to get there:
Take Webster Street from Highway 101 in Alameda and the Museum will be just a few blocks ahead.  Check out the map for more specific directions.
More info:
The Pinball Museum has a pretty cool website full of information; check it out for hours, classes and more.
Other things to do in the area:
The USS Hornet Museum is a few blocks away.  Lake Merritt and the Oakland Museum of California are just across Highway 880 in Oakland.
