Eureka - Woodley Island Marina

This, the largest Marina on Humboldt Bay, offers slips for both personal and commercial vessels and provides a foreview of activity on the bay.  The marina is a great place to peacefully stroll while enjoying the views, the boats and the wildlife.  The marina is also home to the Fisherman Memorial Statue & the Table Bluff Lighthouse and Cafe' Marina & Woodley's Bar if you want to grab some coffee or stop for food.
How to get there:
From Eureka, take R Street (Highway 255) west toward Samoa.   Take the Woodley Island Marina exit and you'll enter the marina area.
From Arcata, take Highway 255 toward Samoa.  At the light, make a left toward Eureka.  Take the Woodley Island Marina exit and you'll enter the marina area.

Parking is free at the marina.  There is also a kayak launch area.
Other things to do in the area:
Old Town Eureka has some great Art Galleries and Museums to visit. The Samoa Dunes Recreation Area is a great place to check out the bay and the ocean while enjoying the beauty of the dunes.  The Samoa Cookhouse Logging Museum and the Humboldt Bay Maritime Museum are closeby as well.
