On the North side of Lake Britton and across the lake from Burney Falls is the secluded Northshore Campground.  The campground features 30 campsites that have picnic tables, fire rings with grills and food storage lockers.
Camping here is $22/night and you'll need to make reservations to get your spot. There are also showers on the grounds, vault & flush toilets and tap water is available.
The two beaches along Lake Britton are great for swimming, relaxing, picnicking and other fun lake activities.
This campground is also a great place for checking out Bald Eagles who often use the area for nesting.  Leave them alone if you see them and/or their nests.

How to get there:
Just north of Lake Britton and McArthur-Burney Falls State Park on Highway 89 will be Forest Route 37N05 which you'll want to take to the left.  Just over 1/2 mile later, take another left which will lead you to the campground.
More info:
The land is owned by PG&E and if you make reservations, you'll need to do so through their website which you can reach by clicking HERE.  For a map of the layout of the campground, click HERE
Other fun things to do in the area:
