Camping at Lassen Volcanic National Park is a pretty incredible experience and the park offers a variety of ways that you can camp depending on your style. Regardless of where you stay and which accommodations are best for you, you'll be placed in the middle of one of the best parks in the country.
For traditional tent camping, there are a number of spots located throughout the park.  Most of them are on lakes and are easily accessible.  Amenities include, flush toilets, picnic tables, fire-rings, grills, a food storage box and a boat launch. The Butte Lake (Northeast part of the park) and Juniper Lake (Southeast part of the park) campgrounds are more remote while the Manzanita Lake and Summit Lake campgrounds are just a few of the places available within the main part of the park.  There is also a campground available at the Kohm Yah-mah-nee visitor center.
You can also stay at Drakesbead Guest Ranch, the only lodging within the park.
Many people prefer to stay in a cabin and the park has quite a few at Manzanita Lake.  There are twenty cabins made up of; bunkhouse, 1 and 2 room varieties.  You can make reservations up to six months in advance and if you have a special event planned, you should reserve early.  There is a store and laundry facilities just a few hundred yards away from the cabins.
RV spots are also available at a variety of places so pull up to the park and play!

*Due to snow, most of the campgrounds are only open during certain times of the year.  Visit the Park's Website to get more detailed information about what's available and when.
