If you're looking to camp in a peaceful place that is close to Lassen Volcanic National Park, Battle Creek Campground just may be the right one for you.  
Each of the 50 campsites come equipped with grills, tables and fire rings and are located in the heart of an outdoor paradise.  There is drinking water available as well as vault and flush toilets.  
How to get there:
The campground is located just less than two miles west of Mineral (about 40 minutes east of Red Bluff).

The sites are $18/night and allow for a maximum of 8 people per site.  The campground is usually open from April until late October.
Things to do in the area:
Lassen Volcanic National Park is the main attraction in the area and for good reason; the place is amazing!  If you keep heading east on Highway 36, you'll hit the Chester area which is home to Lake Almanor and Butt Valley Reservoir, among other fun things to do.
