Eagle Lake has 5 wonderful campgrounds for your camping pleasure.  Each campground has something unique to offer, are all family-friendly and are either right on the lake or very near.  Each campground has a host who can help you with your stay.

Click on the name of the campground for more information.

Aspen Campground - The smallest of Eagle Lake's campgrounds, the Aspen Campground is within walking distance to the Marina and one of the lake's beaches.  The 28 spots are each $20/night and don't have hook-ups.

Merrill Campground - The biggest of the lake's campgrounds; tents, rv's and everything in between are welcome to enjoy its 173 spaces.  There are full and partial hook-ups, waterfront sites, boat mooring and handicap accessible sites.  Reservations are required and the prices vary depening on your needs.  Click the site's link for more information.

Eagle Campground - This 50-site campground is perfect for both small groups or families.  Just a quick half mile from the marina and waterfront, these spacious, shady campsites are a great place to enjoy your time at the lake.  Tents and RV's are both welcome. There are also small group sites and handicap accessible sites as well.  Prices vary from $20-$35 per night depending on your needs.

Christie Campground - If picnics and barbecuing right on the lakeshore are what you're looking for, the 69-site Christie Campground (RV, tent, small group and double sites are available) may just be the one for you.  It's at one end of the bike trail, right on the lake and next to the Christie Day Use Area.
The small group camp site can accomodate up to 16 people and you can moor your boats with no fee.
The campground does not offer hook-ups and standard sites are only $20/night. This is probably the most private of the lake's campgrounds.

West Eagle Group Campground - There are two group sites on these grounds; one for 75 people and the other can accomodate 100.  Each of these sites are $125 and offer picnic tables, large fire rings and grills.  Tents and RV's are welcome.

Lake info:
Eagle Lake is a gorgeous place to play in and around the water.  With 22,000 surface acres and over 100 miles of shoreline, there is plenty of room to take advantage of all it has to offer. Swimming, picnics & barbeques, relaxing and other activites are very popular at its beaches.
If you want to get out on the water, use the marina and launch into the lake and enjoy the quality fishing that you'll find here.
Wildlife chasers will be pleased as well as it's abundant at Eagle Lake.  May-June and September-October are peak months for viewing a variety of birds; including eagles...the lake's namesake.  We've made a few trips to Eagle Lake and each time, saw deer; the last one walked right by the car as we looked at the lake!
How to get there:

From Highway 36, just east of Highway 44, take Eagle Lake Road until you reach the lake.  It will take you about 15-20 minutes once you leave the highway.  For other ways to get there, check out the handy map.
More info:
If you forget anything, there is a general store at the marina that has basic goods and fishing supplies.
