Camping at Klamath National Forest is quite an experience.   These campgrounds are in a lush park that encompasses almost 2-million acres.  If you include dispersed camping spots and horse camps , there are over 50.  All of the standard and group campgrounds come with a table, a fire ring or camp stove and restrooms.  The campgrounds are usually open May through October but check with the park before you travel.
The campgrounds are at a variety of elevations giving you the opportunity to take advantage of almost everything this amazing park has to offer.  RV's are welcome at many of the campgrounds.
How to get there:
The map we provided is to the Klamath National Forest Headquarters.  The park itself straddles the California / Oregon border.  Highway 96 runs right through the park from just north of Yreka over and down to Willow Creek.
