The Keswick Reservior is a hidden gem just outside of Redding.  Fishing, hiking, mountain biking, swimming and boating are just a few of the popular activities that take place here.  
The reservoir is full of trout so drop your boat or set-up along the shoreline and fish the day away.  
If you're looking for a peaceful and beautiful place to kayak or canoe, this is a great option.

The Keswick Reservoir also acts as a trailhead for the Sacramento River Trail System.   Access to the reservoir is open all year and there are no fees. 
Other things to do in the area:
