The Corning Community Park is a new 18-acre park that features multiple playgrounds, soccer fields, walking trails, a gazebo, skate and bike park, a basketball court and more.
Grab some food and enjoy a picnic along the tree-lined creek that runs through the park or relax and read a book. This is probably the best park in Corning.
How to get there:
From I-5 in either direction, take the Solano Street Exit East in Corning. After you cross Highway 99 (almost immediately), take Toomes Avenue right. The Corning Community Park will be a short distance down Toomes Avenue on your left.

Other things to do in the area:
Corning is home to world-class Olive Oil Tasting. Woodson Bridge State Recreation Area is an expansive state park with lots to offer. Head southwest a little and enjoy the Black Butte Lake Recreation Area and be sure to stop by the Farm Sanctuary which is on the way.
