The Trinity Alps Golf and Country Club is located about an hour west of Redding in beautiful Weaverville.  This 9-hole course is well maintained and offers great views of the surrounding mountains.  The fairways are tight so there is an emphasis on drive placement and errant shots will be costly at this course. 
Rates for rounds are reasonable and they also offer memberships.
Locals rave about the restaurant so when you come to play, makes plans to eat after your round.
