Just north of Smith River, Clifford Kamph Memorial Park is one of the last Northern Calfornia beach parks to visit before hitting the Oregon border.  The park is popular for surfing, beachcombing, relaxing and other family-friendly activities. 
From the bluffs above, use one of the park's barbeques to cook up some food and enjoy a picnic while taking in the incredible views.  

How to get there:
The park is located right on the beach along Highway 101.  The parking lot is on the north side of the park; just north of Island View Drive. 
Camping info:
There are 12 camping spots that are $15 a night.  The campground is right on the ocean and there are camp hosts on site.

Dogs are welcome on leashes.  Please pick up their "deposits." 
Other things to do in the area:
