Arcata - Disc Golf at Humboldt State University

Bayview Street
Arcata, California 95521
Northern Humboldt

This 18-basket course is located in the Arcata Community Forest.  It's challenging and one of the best (if not the best) courses in Northern California.  We've been told that this is the most Redwood intensive disc golf course in the world and the photos do not do the course justice.  It's a must play!
How to get there:
From Highway 101 north, take the 14th street exit and turn right; the park will be straight ahead.
From 101 south, take the Sunset Avenue exit and go left back across the Highway.  Make a right on LK Wood Blvd and then make a left on 14th Street; the park will be straight ahead.

More info:

Our Map shows the location of the first tee.  Best parking is behind the Redwood Sciences Lab on campus.  However, be careful where you park to avoid tickets.  To get to that parking lot, take 14th Street toward the park, take Union street left and then take a right on 17th street.  You'll travel up a hill and take a left at the T in the road.  This will loop you around to the parking lot.
Other fun things to do in the area:
The Arcata Marsh offers relaxing trails with some of the best views of Humboldt Bay and the HSU Natural History Museum is another fun stop to make while in Arcata.  Head north to Trinidad and visit Patrick's Point State Park or spend a day at the beach and enjoy the Samoa Dunes Recreational Area.
