Sequoia Park Forest & Garden is a 67-acre redwood park located right next to the Sequoia Zoo.  It's a beautful park that features hiking and biking trails, a duck pond, two creeks and an amazing Rhododendron Garden.  The park also has wheelchair accessible trails and restroom facilities.

Other things to do in the area:
Fort Humboldt State Historic Park is just down the street .  The Morris Graves Museum of Art is a great place to view the work of some local/regional talent and in Arcata, the Arcata Marsh and Arcata Community Forest are both peaceful places to enjoy a walk and get in-tune with nature.
