Clear Lake State Park sits on the shores of California's largest freshwater lake.  The park offers walking and hiking trails, fishing, camping, bike riding, swimming, picnic & bbq areas and a lot more.  
Be sure to stop by the visitor center for some natural and cultural history, an aquarium exhibiting some of the lake's fish species and a gift shop.

There are almost 150 sites in the park which is only open certain months of the year (contact the park for exact dates).  There are also group camp sites and cabins available.   The camp areas are spread out over the park and come with plenty of amenities. 1-800-444-7275

Multiple professional bass fishing organizations have recognized Clear Lake as the nation's number one bass fishing lake.  There is a boat launch in the park for your convenience.  For more information on the park, visit its Website. 
Other things to do in the area:
Mt. Konocti County Park is another great park with some sweet hikes (3 different trails!) and while in Kelseyville, be sure to visit the Ely Stage Stop & Country Museum.
