11 miles of redwoods between Anderson Valley and the beautiful Mendocino Coast make up Navarro River Redwoods State Park.
You can picnic, swim, fish, canoe, kayak, take nature walks and so much more in this park.
The Navarro River is a peaceful river that flows through the redwood trees of the park as it heads toward Navarro Beach and the Pacific Ocean. It's a beautiful place to explore and will enhance any road trip to the area.
How to get there:
The park starts two miles east of Highway 101 on Highway 128.
Camping information:
At this time, camping is not permitted in this park but you can camp at Navarro Beach just down the road.

Other things to do in the area:
If you're heading south, check out some of the Art Galleries and Museums in the Elk and Gualala areas. Manchester State Beach is also a nice stop with a great beach and room to play.
