Bucks Lake is a popular year-round recreation area in Plumas County. The lake area offers hiking, biking and horse riding trails as well as a wide variety of water sports such as windsurfing, waterskiing and swimming.
Bring a picnic and enjoy some of the 17 miles of shoreline that you'll find here.
In the winter, visitors can enjoy groomed snowmobile trails as well as cross-country skiing and show shoeing. Sledding is also popular here.
Camping info:
The lake offers dispersed camping, group campsites, rv spots and traditional campgrounds. The campgrounds are usually open from Memorial Day - Labor Day.
