The Plumas Eureka State Park has a little bit of everything within its 4,500 acre confines. Hiking and biking on its trails are popular during the summer as is camping along Jamison Creek underneath beautiful pines.
There are also two lakes, a museum (free) and stamp mill in the park. Blacksmith demonstrations are held during the summer months.
In the winter, snow shoeing and cross country skiing are very popular activities and ranger-led snowshoe natures hikes are offered on weekends.
