Known at the Portola Railroad Museum until 2006, the Western Pacific Railraod Museum seeks to preserve the railroad eqiupment that was part of the western expansion and growth in California and the west. There are a wild amount of displays and historical information at the museum. They also offer special activities and host events throughout the year.
How to get there:
From Highway 70, take S Gulling Street (south) and make a right on Commercial Street. Turn left on Pacific Street and Western Pacific Way will be on your right.
