The Plumas County Museum hosts dozens of different exhibits, holds special events and even local arts.  The Museum has memorabilia and history of the early railroad days in the county, gold mining on the nearby Feather River and a look back on the lumber industry that helped maked the area what it is today. 
The Exhibit Yard is home to equipment used by early settlers in obtaining the area's natural resources.  Don't miss the Stella Fay Miller Mazzaniine Gallery which showcases the artwork of the area's creative people. 
How to get there:
As you come into town on Highway 70 (turns into Main Street), take a right on Bradley Street and you'll see the Museum on your right just a few blocks later.

The Museum is open year-round, Tuesday - Saturday, 10am-4pm.
