Road Trip to Sacramento

The Capitol City is full of fun things to do and we’ve put together a list of them just for you. Some of our favorites include the California State Railroad Museum, Folsom State Recreation Area and an afternoon or evening at the ballpark cheering on the Sacramento River Cats. A visit to the California Automobile Museum and attending an adrenaline pumping Roller Derby bout are also a lot of fun.

Sacramento is just a short drive from Redding and has enough fun stuff to do that you’ll want to make this road trip more than once. We go to Sacramento quite often and update this section each time we do so be sure to check back before your next trip down I-5.
