Located just a stone's throw from Old Sacramento, this museum is like no other in Northern California.  The world-class collection has over 150 cars on display and you won't find this arrangement of cars anywhere else as some of the cars are privately owned, museum owned and hand chosen to be on display. 
The museum also hosts a variety of exhibits, car shows and special events throughout the year.  You can find an event schedule as well as other details on the museum's website.

The California State Railroad Museum is in nearby Old Sacramento.  The California Museum hosts a rich display of California history and a tour of the State Capitol is a must-do while in the area.  During baseball season, an afternoon at the ballpark cheering on the Sacramento River Cats is a lot of fun.
