This automotive museum of retro 1950's antiques, car culture and other nostalgia is a car lovers dream.  The exhibits found here include the gas station and garage, antique tow truck, the store, diner, theater and crash area.

The California Agriculture Museum in Woodland is also a great museum to visit while you're in the area.  The UC Davis Arboretum is a relaxing place to enjoy an afternoon.  During baseball season, spend a day at the ballpark and root on the Sacramento River Cats.  If you're looking for some family-friendly, adrenaline-pumping action, head out to a Sacramento Roller Derby bout!  A trip to the California Automobile Museum on your road trip seems appropriate as well.
