This unique museum was built with native rocks and features a wide variety of memorabilia from the area.  Open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, stop by and see their collection of historic wheeled vehicles, carriages, buggies and vintage farm equipment as well as other artifacts from Indians and Pioneers of the time.
The famous "rain rock" is a big attraction as is the very rare ceremonial white deer skin.

The museum is located right on Main Street between Newton and Sterling Streets. Check out the map for more specific directions.

Other things to do in the area: 
Don't miss the Marble Rim Gallery while you're in Fort Jones.  Just south of Fort Jones on Highway 3, visit the Etna Museum and stop by the Etna Brewing Company for some tasty craft beer and delicious food.  In Yreka, to the north, Greenhorn Park is a nice place to relax and a visit to the Siskiyou County Museum is both informative and fun.
