The People's Center in Happy Camp is a celebration of all things Karuk.  The Karuk Tribe has a long and storied history in Northern California and the People's Center is dedicated to the preservation, promotion and celebration of Karuk history, language, traditions and more.  
This 5,000 square foot museum has an exhibition gallery, gift shop, classrooms, library and other collections that celebrate the Karuk and their history. 
How to get there:
The museum is located right off of Highway 96 in Happy Camp.  Check out the map for your best route to get there.

Happy Camp is in a pretty remote part of Siskiyou County but is surrounded by the amazing Klamath National Forest
