Twenty minutes north of Mt Shasta City, you'll find a working lavender farm where the incredible smell of lavender intoxicates the senses.
Known for its calming effect in aromatherapy, there are acres of laveneder you can roam while enjoying a fresh glass of lavender lemonade with the sunshine on your face.
The farm also offers incredible views; including those of Mt Shasta.  Mt. Shasta Lavender Farms awaits your visit during the season or by appointment.

There are a few ways to get there depending on where you start.  The map will have your best route.

Other things to do in the area: 
The Siskiyou County Museum has fantastic exhibits and displays that showcase the history of the area.  If you're looking to stay outside, Greenhorn Park in Yreka has quite a bit to offer.  Just outside of Weed, the Living Memorial Sculpture Garden is a must visit monument.
