This Northern California lake was created with boaters, fishermen, swimmers, campers, hikers and other outdoor lovers in mind.
The lake has a pretty killer beach where you can swim, rent paddle boats and kayaks or play in the Splash Zone; which features a rock wall in the lake!
If you want to get some exercise in a beautiful setting, take a walk around the lake on the Lake Siskiyou Trail.  This 7-mile loop is paved, peaceful and offers great views all the way around.
This very family-friendly lake stays at a constant level all year-long and the cold water environment attracts the best trout so bring your pole when you visit.
