Miner Street Park includes four tennis courts, two playgrounds, a softball field, picnic areas, benches, water fountains and plenty of room to spread out and relax, kick a soccer ball, throw a frisbee or just goof off. 
When you road trip to the area and want a chill place to relax for a while, this is a good park to do so.

Other things to do in the area:
Greenhorn Park, Ringe Park & Pool and the Newton Sports Park are also cool parks in the area.  The Siskiyou County Museum is a really fun stop with an incredible amount of history of the area.
