This park, located just north of Brookings, has it all; camping, hiking, beach and family activities, wildlife viewing, fishing, a playground and more. The largest island off of the Oregon Coast can be seen from this park too.
Harris Beach State Park is also a popular whale watching destination so if you take a road trip during the winter or spring, don't forget your binoculars.

Harris Beach State Park is located along Highway 101 just north of Brookings.
Camping info:
RV, tent, hiker/biker and yurts are available and the grounds have flush toilets, hot showers and other amenities. This is a popular and convenient place to camp. Call the park for more information.

Other things to do in the area:
Azalea Park, Alfred A Loeb Park and the Chetco Museum, which is also home to Oregon's largest Monterey Cypress, are fun stops while you're in town.
