The Slough is over 5,000 beautiful acres of preserved habitat for you to enjoy.  Within the park, you'll find freshwater wetlands, tidal wetlands, open channels of water, forested uplands and so much more.
There are miles of walking trails through the park and dogs, as long as they are leashed, are welcome too.

The slough is host of an array of classes and workshops, guides hikes, special events and other community education programs are open to the public; even visiting road trippers.  :-)
This is one of the most peaceful places we visited on our road trip and think you'll enjoy it too.
