You might be surprised to learn that the largest gallery in Redding is inside Redding City Hall.  City Hall spans three stories, is approximately 100,000 square feet and hosts over 500 feet of gallery railing.  The artwork on display at City Hall has been carefully selected via an annual 'call to artists' to provide an engaging experience for the community's enjoyment.
On each floor, visitors will find work by a variety of artists across a handful of mediums.  It's a surprisingly peaceful place to view art by some of the best artists in the area. 
How to get there:
From I-5, take E Cypress West and go over the Sacramento River.  City Hall will be on your left.  Take a look at the map for other ways to get there.
