Wander back in time at the Fort Crook Museum.  Explore the history of the area when you visit the Main Museum Building which houses an extensive collection of Indian artifacts, civil war uniforms, guns and more.  There are also a variety of other buildings on the site which each offer their own perspective of the past.  
How to get there:
From Highway 299, take Fort Crook Avenue (it only goes one way).  The Museum will be almost immediately on your right.

Other things to do in the area:
Fall River Lake and Ahjumawi Lava Springs State Park are both nearby.  Just a short distance away, you'll find Burney Falls, the Hat Creek Radio Obervatory and the Subway Cave.  A day at Lassen Volcanic National Park can't be beat.
