The Shasta County Courthouse, which has been restored to its 1861 appearance, is filled with historical exhibits and an unparalleled collection of historic artifacts that make it the central part of Shasta State Historic Park
The courtroom, jail and gallows have been restored and are now furnished with many original items.  The building also houses the visitor center and a handful of interactive exhibits.
