The purpose of the Tehama County Museum is to preserve and exhibit artifacts that represent the cultural heritage of Tehama County specifically and Northern California in general.  
The museum provides education, inspiration and aesthetic enrichment for all people through exhibition and explanation.  The museum's goal is to educate and enlighten people about the history and cultural aspects of Tehama County.

Other things to do in the area:
Over in Corning, Corning Community Park has quite a bit to offer as does Black Butte Recreation Area in Orland.  In Los Molinos, visit Mill Creek Park where they have horseshoe pits, tennis courts and access to the Sacramento River.
