The Weed Historic Lumber Town Museum is a vivid collection of artifacts and photographs of the people who founded and lived in Weed.  Through the objects displayed, you'll gain an awareness of the courage, commitment and community spirit of Weed that is typical of lumber towns in the Northwest. 
The museum is open 7 days a week; 10:00am-5:00pm; May through September.

Other things to do in the area:
The Living Memorial Sculpture Museum is worth a visit as is Charlie Byrd Park.  If you find yourself hungry and/or thirsty, visit Mt. Shasta Brewing Company and if you're heading south toward Mt. Shasta, a day at Lake Siskiyou or Castle Lake is time well spent.
