Redding - Sacramento River National Recreation Trail

Sundial Bridge Drive
Redding, California 96001
Shasta County

The Sacramento River National Recreation Trail is an amazing 12 mile loop trail that runs from Downtown Redding to just south of Keswick Dam.  The trail is open to walkers, bikers and runners and showcases some of the beauty the area has to offer.
The trail is mostly flat and easy to navigate.  The views along the way are simply spectacular and people of all ages will enjoy a walk or bike ride on the trail.
Fortunately, there are a number of places that you can engage or exit the trail so you can make your walk or bike ride as long or short as you'd like and visit different parts of the trail each time you visit.
Here's a MAP of the trail for you to check out.

How to get there:
Some of the more popular places to get on the trail include the Sundial Bridge AreaCaldwell Park and Turtle Bay East Park.  There is also parking just north of Ribbon Bridge and at Diestelhorst Bridge.
More info:
