Located on 5,000 acres in beautiful Shingletown, the Wild Horse Sanctuary was created and is maintained to protect and preserve wild horses who may otherwise suffer termination.  It also functions to educate and demonstrate that wild horses can co-exist on open range in ecological balance with many diverse species of wildlife.

Viewing of wild horses is available Wednesday - Saturday and is free.  Donations are encouraged as they keep the sanctuary open and running.
