Arcata - Disc Golf at Mad River Pump Station

This course, located along the Mad River, has pretty open fairways and clean approach shots but offers a challenge for players of all skill levels.  All 9 baskets have nice views of the surrounding area and it's a fun course to play.   
How to get there:
From Highway 101, take the Guintoli Lane exit and then take West End Road east about two miles before making a left on Warren Creek Road.   The course will be on your left just a few miles down the road.

More info:
The course has recently gone through some basket and other upgrades.  Bring some swim clothes on a hot day to cool off in the river.  
Other things to do in the area:
Azalea State Natural Reserve is a pretty chill place with a couple of nice trails.  Mad River County Park isn't too far away and has a pretty incredible beach.
Places in the Area to Eat:
After you've worked up an appetite, hit up Blue Lake Casino for some Sushi at Sushi Blue.  The Casino also has their own Brewery which is pretty cool.
