The Steelhead Disc Golf Course is located within Creekside Park.  It appears to be an easy course but has a few tricks up its sleeve so don't underestimate its difficulty.  The best part is that it's within a short walk to the Trinity River for a swim when you're done.  It's a great place to spend the afternoon playing in the sun.
How to get there:
From Highway 299 (west side of town), turn onto Willow Glen and follow it until it comes to an end in approximately 1/4 mile.

Creekside Park has a children's play area, picnic areas, bbq's, educational information and plenty of open space. 
Other things to do in the area:
Kimtu Beach is close by and has some excellent swimming holes.  The China Flat Museum is also a must-see when in town.
