Website

Centerville Beach County Park is located to the west of Victorian Ferndale.  There are miles and miles of beautiful beach where you can find your own little piece of serenity and enjoy the sounds of crashing waves.  Walk amongst sandstone cliffs, fly a kite, view a variety of birds and if you're lucky, see migrating whales off in the distance.
The area is also ideal for family picnics and other beach activities.
How to get there:
From Highway 101 (in either direction) take the Ferndale exit.  Cross Fernbridge and drive a few miles until you enter Historic Ferndale.  Drive down Main Street Ferndale and turn right at Ocean Avenue (at the stop sign).  Ocean avenue will turn into Centerville Road and it's approximately 5 miles until you reach the beach.
More info:
There is no camping permitted at Centerville Beach County Park but there are no fees for day-use. Parking is limited.  Dogs and horses are welcome and fires are permitted.
Other things to do in the area:
Russ Park is a wonderful and scenic park in Ferndale.  Table Bluff, just north in Loleta, is also a wonderful beach with miles of fun places to play.
