The 1909 Lighthouse is just one of the highlights of this amazing 270-acre park.  Walk the trails along the bluffs and enjoy spectacular views of the coastline.  The wildflowers that can be found here are colorful and impressive and wildlife is abound.  Look for harbor seals, sea lions, whales and other marine life right off the coast as well as deer and other wildlife on the bluffs.
Access to the lighthouse and other parts of the park are open year-round from 11am-4pm.
Be sure to visit the Lightkeeper's House; a period museum as well as the other historical buildings that are open to the public.

How to get there:
From Highway 1, north of Mendocino, you'll see the signs for the Lighthouse off of Point Cabrillo Drive.  Once you reach the parking lot, it's a short 1/2 mile walk to the lighthouse and park.  There is handicap accessible parking closer to the lighthouse.  Check out the map for more specific directions.
More info:
Dogs are welcome on leash only.  Don't forget your camera and/or binoculars.
