A nice stop along Highway 1 in Westport, the Headlands offer great views, walking trails and access to Eddie White Beach and the Pacific Ocean.
The park is also host to yearly community events and even weddings. With plenty of space to have a picnic or goof off around the ocean and up along the bluffs, it's a stop worth making.
How to get there:
Parking is right along Highway 1 in Westport. Look for some across from Pelican Road in town.

Westport-Union Landing State Beach is another fantastic stop in the area. To the south, visit MacKerricher State Park or check out some of the Art Galleries & Museums in Fort Bragg.
