Listed on the national register of historic places, the Hughes House is a restored 1898 Victorian farmhouse where you can see what farm life was like over 100 years ago.
The tour is conducted by knowledgable volunteers and is free but donations are gratefully accepted and help fund restoration and maintenance of the house.  
How to get there:
Take Cape Blanco Road off of Highway 101 and it will lead you directly into Cape Blanco Park which hosts the Museum.

Tours are available; April 1 - October 31, Wednesday-Monday, 10am-3:30pm.  Closed Tuesdays.  You can watch a short video about the Hughes House by clicking HERE.
Other things to do in the area: 
While in Cape Blanco State Park, be sure to visit the Lighthouse.  Floras Lake State Natural Area is just to the north and is a nice relaxing place to visit.
