Floras Lake State Natural Area is a unique park along the Oregon Coast, between Port Orford and Bandon.  The lake itself is seperated from the ocean by a thin stip of dunes that gives you a unique variety of environments in which to play.
The trail that takes visitors by the lake and out toward the ocean is peaceful and the views are beautiful.  We've been here three times and did not see one other person any of those times.

How to get there:
There are a few ways to get there depending on your starting point.  Check out the map for your best route.

Other things to do in the area:
Cape Blanco State Park is just to the south of Floras Lake and features the Cape Blanco Lighthouse and the Hughes House.  Just north in Bandon, check out Seven Devils Recreation Area, Bullards Beach State Park and Bandon Marsh National Wildlife Refuge.
