Trinidad Head is a popular trail located at Trinidad State Beach.  It's both a casual, relaxing walk and a great workout depending on how you choose to tackle it.  Regardless, this 1.5 mile loop trail offers amazing views of the beach, the harbor and the coast.  During the whale watching season, this is a great place to come out and enjoy an afternoon trying to spot them.

Degree of Difficulty:  Easy
Dogs: Yes, on leash.  Please pick up after your dog(s) 
Camping: There is camping at Sue-meg State Park just a few miles away.
How to get there:
From Highway 101 or Scenic Drive, take the Main Street exit and head into town.  Turn left on Trinity Street and then right on Edwards Street and this will lead you down to the parking lot.  The trailhead will be on the south side of the parking lot.

Trinidad Head is a day-use only trail with plenty of parking and no fees.  People of all ages will enjoy this trail. 
Other things to do in the area:
Be sure to stop by the Trinidad Museum while in the area. College Cove Beach, which is very nearby and Agate Beach, located in Patrick's Point State Park, are both beautiful beaches to visit and the Trinidad Art Gallery is where you can find some fantastic local and regional art.
