On the east side of Black Butte Lake and across from the Buckhorn Campground is the Orland Buttes Campground.  This 35-site campground has drinking water, picnic tables, fire pits, boat ramps, restrooms and more. 
Popular activities in and around the lake include swimming, fishing, boating and just relaxing. 
Vehicles up to 35 feet in length should have no problem here.  No electrical hookups are available but there is a dump station.  Standard rates are $20/night.

How to get there:
The campground is just off of Newville Road which you pick up from I-5 in Orland.  There is a sign as you approach the entrance.  Check out the map for more specific directions.

Fun things to do in the area:
Thunderhill Raceway hosts exciting, fast-paced action. The Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge is fairly close and you'll find world-class Olive Oil Tasting in nearby Corning.
