Susanville - Skyline Park

Susanville's Skyline Park is a small park that features a 1.08 mile trail, is very peaceful and is known for its great views of the valley below. 
That path is both paved and dirt, well maintained and easy to navigate.  There are benches at various points within the park so you can sit and enjoy the fresh air, sunshine and views. 
How to get there: 
The park is located on the northside of Susanville off of Skyline  Road.  Check out the map for your best way to get there.

There is no water or bathroom facilities at the park. 
Other things to do in the area:
Susanville Ranch Park and its miles and miles of gorgeous trails isn't too far away.  The Lassen Historical Museum has photos, exhibits and other artifacts related to the interesting history of the area and is adjacent to Roop's Fort.  Eagle Lake is a fantastic place to spend an afternoon.
